Summer Fine Arts is . . .
a summer enrichment program for children entering
KINDERGARTEN through the FIFTH GRADE. It is an exciting and
fun-filled activity in which children explore the arts - VISUAL ARTS, DANCE,
DRAMA, MUSIC AND CREATIVE THINKING. Research now substantiates what
many teachers and
parents already knew intuitively - the arts are critical to education
and learning! |

Summer Fine
Arts encourages each student to draw upon their innate creative abilities
and deepen them as well. The arts delight students, but they are also
intellectual disciplines of substance. |

| Like
language or mathematics, the arts involve the use of complex symbols to
communicate as well as teach the use of higher-order thinking - skills like
analysis, synthesis and evaluation. |
